For centuries, the town of Alaina’s Cloister—gateway to the shattered Northern Kingdom—has brooded in the shadow of Caer Scáth, the infamous Shadow Fortress. Once the throne of the treacherous archmage Xelo Van, whose dark sorcery plunged the north into ruin, Caer Scáth has long stood dormant, its crumbling spires and haunted halls home only to whispers of the past. Scholars, treasure seekers, and adventurers gave the fortress a wide berth, preferring the safer spoils of abandoned villages and holdfasts untainted by Xelo Van’s wicked legacy. Even the citizens of Alaina’s Cloister had learned to ignore the ominous silhouette that loomed above them, dismissing it as a relic of horrors long buried.

“DreadReign: The Shadow Fortress” is an arcade-style dungeon crawler that combines 1st Person action with party dungeon crawling. The player controls a party of intrepid heroes fighting their way through ruins and catacombs to confront an ancient resurrected evil.
